PM Oli urges all to get ready for quarantining Nepali evacuees from China

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Oli has urged one and all to get ready for the treatment and quarantine of the Nepali students being airlifted to Nepal from coronavirus-hit China.

Speaking at a special meeting held at Baluwatar, Prime Minister Oli directed to systematically tackle the epidemic.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defense, Home Ministry, Minister for Health and Population, chief secretaries and security officials were present in the meeting.

In the meeting, Prime Minister has directed to arrange Shivapuri, Ichangunarayan, Suryabinayak and Kharipati for quarantine of Nepali students.

Meanwhile, a seven-member panel led by Chief Secretary Lok Dharshan Regmi has been formed which will supervise and manage quarantine camps.
