Bharatpur to host the fifth CAN Info-Tech fair

CHITWAN: Bharatpur is hosting the fifth edition of the CAN Info-Tech trade fair from February 7 to 11.

According to the organizer, the Computer Association of Nepal (CAN) Chitwan branch, the fair will be held at the old vegetable market at Lions Chowk in Narayangadh with the theme “Chitwan’s Prosperity, Information Technology.”

The fair will have 81 stalls showcasing computer software, hardware, mobiles, cybersecurity, and smart TVs. Stalls related to colleges and consultancies regarding higher education will also be set up.

According to CAN Chitwan branch president Santosh Janak Bhusal, the fair is organized with the objective of encouraging students and youths towards information technology and to promote their talent.

Likewise, a hackathon competition would be held for the first time. The fair will also include interaction on ICT, competitions, Digital Nepal Technology Show, seminars, public awareness programs, and robotics exhibitions, among others.
