Woman succumbs to wild bees’ bite



CHITWAN: A woman was stung to death by a swarm of wild bees in Chitwan.

The deceased has been identified as Thagiya Tharuni, 76, of Beltandi, Ratnanagar municipality-9.

A swarm of bees bit her leaving severely injured.

She was rushed to the Chitwan Medical College Bharatpur where she breathed her last during treatment, Chitwan Police said.

Her body has been kept at the Bharatpur Hospital for post-mortem.
