Wild bees sting septuagenarian to death  



CHITWAN: A septuagenarian woman has died after being stung by wild bees in the district.

The deceased is identified as 76-year-old Thagiya Tharuni of Ratnanagar Municipality-9, Beltandi.

A swarm of wild bees had attacked her on Sunday while she was staying at home.

Critically injured Tharuni, who was rushed to Chitwan Medical College, died in the course of treatment.

The body has been kept at Bharatpur Hospital for postmortem.
