Kathmandu Valley witnesses 484 new COVID-19 cases

KATHMANDU: As many as 484 persons have been infected with COVID-19 in the Kathmandu Valley in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 351 cases have been confirmed in Kathmandu, 59 in Bhaktapur, and 74 in Lalitpur.

With this, Kathmandu Valley has recoded 91,021 cases of coronavirus till date.

Meanwhile, as many as 1,096 people have been diagnosed coronavirus positive in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, Nepal’s COVID-19 tally has reached 2,40,981 with fresh cases as of Sunday afternoon.

A total of 1,752 individuals got discharged from the hospitals in the past 24 hours while the number of people winning the battle against the virus reached 2,25,805 in the country.

Nepal currently has 13,582 active cases.

Likewise, 536 people are in quarantine facilities across the country at present.

As many as 17 people succumbed to the virus in the past 24 hours taking the COVID-19 death tally in the country to 1,594, the Ministry confirmed.
