PM Oli and President Bhandari meet at Sheetal Niwas



KATHMANDU: Amidst mounting tension in the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP), PM KP Oli has intensified consultation with President Bidya Devi Bhandari. He reached Shital Niwas and discussed contemporary issues.

PM Oli reached Shial Niwas to meet President Bhandari at a time when 43 Standing Committee members were waiting for his arrival at the party meeting at Dhumbarahi-based office.

According to NCP sources, PM Oli held talk with President for about an hour.

PM Oli, who was in minority in party’s Secretariat is believed to have similar situation in Standing Committee as well.

In the meantime, Oli faction leaders have been trying to woo Vice Chairman Bam Dev Gautam promising him the post of next Prime Minister from the party.
