Lalitpur Metropolis starts clearing unmanaged overhead cables



LALITPUR: The Lalitpur Metropolitan City is going to remove unorganized wires from Sunday.

Chief of the Municipal Police Force, Sitaram Hachhethu, said that unmanaged wires will be chopped off as the number of accidents and fires have increased.

The unorganized wires are affecting the city as well as the heritage,” says Hachhethu, “The city of the temple is becoming ugly due to the wires. It has also affected tourists.”
