COVID-19: India records 36,111 new cases, 480 deaths

NEW DELHI: India recorded 36,111 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 9,644,529.

Currently, 404,367 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals.

Meanwhile, 9,099,946 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 140,000mark.

With 480deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 140,216, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometers.
