Province 2 sees 83 more COVID-19 cases, 47 recoveries on Friday



JANAKPURDHAM: Province 2 witnessed 83 new cases of coronavirus in last 24 hours.

According to Dr. Kamalesh Prasad Yadav, a senior doctor at the Province Health Directorate of Province 2, there have been 16 new cases of coronavirus in females and 67 in males today.

He informed that with 24 new cases in the district on Friday, Siraha turned out to be the district with most cases today.

Similarly, there have been 23 cases in Dhanusha, 10 in Parsa, 8 in Saptari, 7 in Mahottari, 5 in Rautahat, 3 in Bara, and 2 in Sarlahi.

Yadav added that 1 case was found from the swabs outside the province today.

Likewise, Province 2 got 47 discharged on Friday making the discharged number 14,658 till date.
