28,983 COVID-19 infected in home isolation



KATHMANDU: Out of 34,905 active COVID-19 cases, 28,993 people are in home isolation.

A total of 18,486 are in home isolation in Bagmati Province.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 4,570 people in Province 1 are in home isolation, 986 in Province 2, 2,209 in Lumbini Province, 722 in Sudurpaschim Province, 1,710 in Gandaki Province, and 310 in Karnali Province.

Meanwhile, as many as 2,909 people have been diagnosed coronavirus positive in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, Nepal’s COVID-19 has reached 188,883 with fresh cases as of Friday afternoon.

Altogether 10,153 sample tests were conducted across the country in the past 24 hours.

A total of 4,500 individuals got discharged from the hospitals in the past 24 hours while the number of people winning the battle against the virus reached 152,908 in the country.
