COVID-19 tally crosses 8,000-mark in Province 1



BIRATNAGAR: Province 1 recorded 330 coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours in the highest single-day spike.

The newly-infected are 135 males and 195 females.

According to the Ministry of Social Development, there are 210 cases in Morang, 91 in Sunsari, 17 in Jhapa, three in Sankhuwasabha, two in Udayapur, one each in Dhankuta and Khotang and five in districts outside the province.

The number of coronavirus cases in the province has reached 8,105.

Meanwhile, a total of 122 people have recovered and returned home.
