NCP senior leader Nepal urges government to address Dr KC’s demands

KATHMANDU: Senior leader of ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP), Madhav Kumar Nepal has urged government to address the demands of Dr Govinda KC.

Leader Nepal has also urged the government to hold talks with Dr KC’s life.

Today is the 23rd day of Dr KC’s 19th fast-unto-death.

He has also said that the government needs to be sensitive on the issue, and make sure that it took immediate steps.

It may be noted that the main opposition party Nepali Congress (NC) has already expressed solidarity to Dr KC’s demands.

Dr KC is undergoing fast-unto-death at the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) in Maharajgunj after the government took him there on September 22 from the National Trauma Center.

He started his 19th fast-unto-death from Jumla on September 14.
