Two die in Ramechhap tractor accident



KATHMANDU: Two people have died in a road accident in Doramba rural municipality-4, Gaushwara in Ramechhap district.

The deceased have been identified as tractor driver Pema Lama and a passenger Phurba Jyanel Lama, according to District Police Office (DPO), Ramechhap.

“Two people including a tractor driver Pema Lama died in a tractor accident in Doramba rural municipality-4, Gaushwara on Monday night,” said Police Inspector Tekendra Sharma Paudel of DPO, Ramechhap.

The ill-fated tractor, Na 7 Ta 873, was heading to Sanoshailung of Gaushwara carrying diesel from zero point of Kavre district when the accident took place.

One of the passengers saved his life by jumping off the tractor, according to Paudel.

Police have left for the incident site, said Paudel.
