Prohibitory order to be enforced in Bardiya from Sunday



BARDIYA: A district-wise prohibitory order will be enforced in Bardiya from Sunday following a rapid surge in coronavirus cases.

The District Administration Office has decided to issue a five-day order after the coronavirus was confirmed at the community level.

A meeting of the District Covid-19 Crisis Management Center chaired by Chief District Officer Liladhar Adhikari on Thursday decided to impose the order from 6 am on Sunday.

A total of 248 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in the district so far.
