6 cops deployed for Prachanda’s security test COVID-19 positive



KATHMANDU: As many as six police personnel deployed for the security of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ have been confirmed to be infected with the coronavirus.

A test conducted at Nepal Police Hospital, Maharajgunj confirmed that the police personnel were infected from the pandemic virus.

According to sources at Dahal’s Secretariat, the personnel deployed in the outer layer for the security have contracted coronavirus.

Earlier, a policeman deployed for the security of Speaker Agni Sapkota had also tested positive for the coronavirus.
