Lockdown enforced in Mirchaiya for 10 days



SIRAHA: In a bid to contain the further outbreak of coronavirus infection, Mirchaiya municiplaity of Siraha has enforced lockdown effective from today onward.

Following the confirmation of virus infection among three locals of its ward no. 3, the municiplaity has announced enforcement of lockdown up to 16 August.

An emergency meeting held at the municipality office took the decision to enforce lockdown for 10 days, informed mayor Shrawan Yadav.

The municipality has urged its residents to comply with the lockdown order staying at home.

Meanwhile, a couple of Rajbiraj municiplaity-8 won the coronavirus infection. Pramod Yadav, 37, and his wife Binda Yadav, 32, of Rajbiraj-8 got success in their battle against the deadly virus.

The couple had stayed in isolation at home and strictly followed the instructions of doctor to suppress the virus infection.

It may be noted that a senior citizen of Rajbiraj who had recently returned from India with family lost his life to coronavirus on 16 July. Yadav who had directly come in contact with the old man tested positive for the virus. RSS
