7 NAC crew members infected with coronavirus, 7 more in isolation

KATHMANDU: Seven crew members involved in the chartered flights of Nepal Airlines Corporation have tested positive to coronavirus.

Issuing a press release here today, the NAC confirmed that seven of its crew members tested positive for coronavirus while the results of seven more crew members are yet to be confirmed.

The NAC crew members had stayed at Soaltee Hotel in course of their involved in the chartered flights.

The coronavirus was confirmed on them while carrying out a PCR test before sending them home from quarantine after the flights, according to NAC.

The NAC has been making necessary arrangement for their treatment. It has said that the pre-scheduled rescue flights would remain intact by adopting further precautionary measures.

Earlier, a foreign pilot of Himalaya Airlines was also confirmed to have coronavirus infection.
