Five killed in separate road accidents



KATHMANDU: Five people have died in accidents that occurred in separate places in the country.

According to police, a 55-year-old Surje Bahadur Shahi died after being hit by a tipper in Jitpursimara municipality-1 in Bara district. Motor-cycle-born Shahi died on the spot.

Similarly, 34-year-old Krishnakar Ranjit of Ratnanagar municipality-2, Tandi, struck to death by a vehicle while he was riding a cycle.

Likewise, Bir Bahadur Adhikari, who originally hails from Triyuga municipality-6, died in a scooter accident in Birtamod municipality-3.

Critically injured Adhikari breathed his last while undergoing treatment at B&C Hospital in Birtamod.

Likewise, 50-year-old Yagya Bahadur Jogi died after he was hit by a bus at Chandanpur of Kamalamai municipality-14 in Sndhuli district.

Similarly, 51-year-old Rupa Singh BK died, a pedestrian, died after being hit by a motorcycle in Pokhara Metropolitan City-5 in Kaski district.

BK was pronounced dead in the course of treatment at Metrocity Hospital.
