CIAA nabs ward chairman with Rs 3,00,000 bribe



BUTWAL: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA), Butwal has arrested Devendra Pun, chairman of Rainadevi Chhahara Ruralmunicipality ward No. 7 of Palpa with Rs 3, 00,000 bribes.

He has taken bribe from the contractor saying that he will facilitate the purchase of forest timber.

Spokesperson of the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority Butwal Suresh Bhusal informed that Pun was taken under control from Sainabaina-10 on Saturday morning while he was taking the bribe money.
