1,553 detained for violating lockdown in Kathmandu Valley



KATHMANDU: Police have detained 1,553 people from different parts of the Kathmandu Valley for violating the lockdown enforced to curb coronavirus.

According to police, 1,553 people including 396 women were taken under control from 6 am to 5 pm on Tuesday.

Similarly, 678 vehicles including 611 two-wheelers and 76 four-wheelers were also impounded, police said.
