KATHMANDU: Police have arrested a central member of the outlawed Netra Bikram Chand alias Biplav-led outfit Anil Sharma alias Birahi on Tuesday.
According to police headquarters sources, he was arrested from Chitwan.
Also the head of the Publication Department of the outfit, Sharma was Politburo member before Politburo was dissolved. He also held the responsibility of the Eastern Command of the outfit for some time.
Sharma had joined the Mohan Baidya-led party following the party split and had later joined the outfit.
