Bharat Raj Gautam sworn in as parliament’s Gen Secy



KATHMANDU: Newly elected General Secretary of Federal Parliament Dr Bharat Raj Gautam has taken oath of office and secrecy.

Speaker Sapkota administered oath of office and secrecy to General Secretary Gautam amidst a ceremony on Tuesday.

President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Monday appointed Gautam to the post of General Secretary at the recommendation of Speaker Sapkota and Chairman of National Assembly Ganesh Timalsina.

National Assembly chairman, vice chairman, parliamentary leaders of all the political parties represented in the federal parliament, chief whips and chairmen of parliamentary committees were present on the occasion.
