GORKHA: A man died in a vehicle accident at Manbu in the district on Wednesday evening.
The deceased has been identified as Kiran Rimal, ward secretary of Dharche rural municipality-6.
The accident took place when Rimal was going to Kashingaun in a jeep, Ga 1 Ja 5505, to participate in a disability ID card distribution program. Rimal originally hails from Lamjung.
Seven people including rural municipality chief Phulmaya Gurung sustained injuries.
