3 killed as bus carrying wedding guests meets with accident



MAKWANPUR: Three people died and 19 others sustained injuries after a bus carrying wedding guests met with an accident at Gauribhanjyang in the district.

Three people died on the spot when the ill-fated bus, Na 3 Kha 3556, met with an accident at Makwanpurgadhi rural municipality-2 on Wednesday evening, said police.

The deceased are all male. Their identity is yet to be ascertained.

A total of 273 people have died in 14 countries outside China. Six people among 273 had died in a cruise ship called Diamond Princess.

Italy tops the list with the highest number of deaths with 107 people outside China by followed by Iran with 92 deaths.

A total of 3,089 people have been infected with the new virus in Italy and Iran has reported 2,932 coronavirus cases as of Wednesday.
