SEOUL: Former UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon has received the Sunhak Peace Prize during the World Summit 2020 General Assembly in Seoul today.

Over 6,000 guests from South Korea and abroad, including Hun Sen, Prime Minister of Cambodia, Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon, co-founder of the Universal Peace Federation, Brigi Rafini, Prime Minister of Niger, and several former and current heads of state from 120 countries had participated in the Assembly organized to celebrate the 100th birthday of Dr. Sun Myung Moon.

Former UN Secretary General Moon said he firmly believed that the summit would serve as a springboard for garnering substantial support of the international community to achieve the vision for the sake of a unified Korea. (With inputs from Agencies)
