Dhangadhi Airport to close partially till Jan 24



KAILAI: The Dhangadhi Airport will be partially closed till January 24 for maintenance work.

According to airport Chief Tej Bahadur Budhathoki, the airport will be partially closed from 3 pm in the afternoon till 7 am next day for runway overlay and expansion.

The airport was supposed to resume full operation from December 17. But, the closure was extended as works are yet to be completed.

According to the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN), the airport has a length of 1,800 meters and is 60 meters wide. The runway is being widened by two meters on both sides.
