US COVID-19 cases surpass 14.7 million



WASHINGTON: The number of COVID-19 cases has reached 14,762,643 in the United States of America after 225,380 new cases were reported in the country.

Currently, 5,818,474 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals and isolation wards across the country while 8,658,688 have recovered from the pandemic.

Similarly, the death toll linked with the coronavirus has reached 285,481 with 2,649 new deaths so far in the country, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometer.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China in last December, the coronavirus has killed 1,523,487 and infected 66,201,135 globally until the filing of this news.
