Four killed, seven injured in Humla jeep mishap



SIMKOT: Four people died and seven others sustained critical injuries in a jeep accident in Humla district.

The deceased have been identified as Parbat Sunar, 30, of Simkot-7, Paras Bohara of Simkot-2, Duki Tamang, 45, of Namkha-1, and her husband 45-year-old Guru Tamang, said District Police Office, Humla.

The accident took place when an ill-fated jeep, Lu 2, Cha 2102, heading to the district headquarters Simkot carrying a patient from Hepkakhola met with an accident near Jabuka in Simkot rural municipality-7, Dadaphaya at 11 pm on Friday night.

The injured are receiving treatment at Humla District Hospital.

The Balero jeep had fallen 600 meters down the road. Security personnel  with the help of locals had carried out the rescue work.
