30 COVID-19 infected in critical condition in Banke



BANKE: Thirty COVID-19 patients receiving treatment in two major hospitals in Banke district are in critical condition.

In the district, a total of 101 patients are undergoing treatment at Bheri Hospital, Nepalgunj and Teaching Hospital in Kohalpur, officials said.

According to COVID-19 focal person in the district Naresh Shrestha, 18 patients in Bheri Hospital and 12 in Kohalpur Teaching Hospital are receiving treatment in critical condition.

The treatment of patients admitted to these hospitals is managed based on the level of their health condition.
In the district, a total of 191 infected persons are in home isolation in different local units.

It is reported that 34 infected persons died of the virus in the district till today. Similarly, the total number of infected reached 3, 287 while 2,972 patients returned home after complete recovery.
