Govt must arrange ‘isolation centers’ for tenants: Mahat



KATHMANDU: Deputy General Secretary of main opposition of Nepali Congress and Coordinator of COVID-19 Monitoring Committee of the party Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat has demanded that the government arrange for the isolation for the people living in rent in case they test  positive for coronavirus.

Speaking an an inauguration ceremony of plasma donation program in Nawalpur,  Dr Mahat lambasted the government for its irresponsible remark asking the coronavirus infected people to arrange for the isolation on their own.

The Coordinator of Nepali Congress party’s COVID-19 Monitoring Committee, Dr. Mahat pointed out that the government had been turning deaf ears to the advises and recommendation of the main opposition party and the experts.

Appreciating the plasma donation program as the one that could be of great use in COVID-19 control, he directed the COVID-19 Monitoring Committee to contribute more to such noble efforts taken to curb and control COVID-19 pandemic.
