55-yr-old man succumbs to COVID-19 in Dharan



KATHMANDU:  A 55-year-old man has died from coronavirus at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan.

Originally from Dharan Sub Metropolitan City-15, Sunsari, the coronavirus patient, who had been admitted to the Institute on October 2, succumbed to the virus in the course of treatment at 7 am today, according to Dr Nidesh Sapkota, the spokesperson for the Institute.

The report of his swab sample collected upon his admission had come out positive on the same day.

He had been suffering from chronic kidney ailment and hypertension.
