KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Health and Population has stated that 11 out of 77 districts in Nepal have over 500 active coronavirus cases.

Morang and Sunsari of Province 1, Bara, Parsa, Dhanusha, Rautahat and Sarlahi of Province 2, Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Chitwan of Bagmati Province and Rupandehi of Province 5 have more than 500 active cases, the ministry said.

Meanwhile, six districts—Taplejung, Solukhumbu, Mustang, Mugu, Dolpa and Humla—have no active cases.
