Two Nepalis arrested with hooch in Kuwait



DOHA:  Two Nepali nationals have been arrested with home-made liquor in Kuwait.

Kuwaiti police arrested them with the locally prepared hooch after raid on an apartment in Mahboula Sub Metropolitan City.

According to Kuwaiti police, raw materials used  for preparing alcohol, dozens of drums, utensils and some ready-for-sale alcohol were seized during the raid.

They have been handed over to the concered unit after arrest for a necessary action.

Earlier, Kuwaiti police had arrested some Nepalis including a woman on the charge of operating a liquor outlet.

Alcohol is banned in Kuwait.
