SUNSARI: Lockdown has been imposed in Itahari Sub Metropolitan City after the COVID-19 cases spiked of late.

An all-party meeting involving people’s representatives, stakeholders and police administration held on Tuesday decided to clamp lockdown until August 9 effective from today.

The lockdown has been imposed in the sub metropolis after four more people tested positive for coronavirus on Tuesday.

Talking to Khabarhub Deputy Mayor of  tahari Sub Metropolitan City Laxmi Gautam said all the services will remain closed except emergency ones for five days.
