Baglung youth who died in quarantine tests coronavirus positive



BAGLUNG: A 29-year-youth who died while at the Dhorpatan Municipality’s Khunga-based quarantine this morning has tested coronavirus positive.

According to Dr. Milan Malla, the chief of Burtiban Primary Health Center, the youth of Nisikhola-2 who died Sunday morning while spending his quarantine days in Khunga has come out with COVID-19 positive result in the test carried out in Pokhara Health Science Laboratory, Pokhara.

The youth had been to India for treatment of kidney and lung-related problems and had returned Nepal a few days back without much progress in his health.

Dr. Malla informed that among 5 members of his family, who returned from India, three have tested negative in the swab test whereas the report of a child is yet to come yet.

He shared that Dhorpatan Municipality is planning to collect the swabs of those three members again and send for the test.

Nepal Army is making arrangements for the last rituals and funeral of the deceased.
