BAJURA: The alliance of non-governmental agencies in Bajura district, ‘Sahas’, has distributed food items and health appliances to the people of those places where the cases of COVID-19 have been reported.

Deshindra Rai of Sahas shared that the food items were distributed to 150 households in Badimaalika Municipality, Gaumul and Khaptad Chededadha Rural Municipality in the district.

Each household was provided with 30 kg of rice, two kg of salt and sugar, two litre of oil and one soap, informed Rai.

Meanwhile, power supply has been disrupted in many places across the district since last Friday after the incessant rain caused damages to the micro hydropower projects in Martadi, informed electricity user group Chairperson Ashok Rawal.
