NC central committee discussing current political situation today

KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress NC), main opposition in the Parliament, is holding its central working committee meeting this afternoon.

Party sources said that the meeting will focus on the current political situation, the ruling Nepal Communist Party’s intra-party wrangling, NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba’s discussion with Prime Minister KP Oli, among others.

The meeting will discuss in detail about the Deuba-Oli meeting held last Wednesday at the prime minister’s official residence, Baluwatar.

Likewise, the central members will also discuss the preparations for the NC’s 14th national general convention proposed for February 2021.

It should be noted that the party’s office bearers had readied a calendar for the convention.
