Gandaki Province confirms 3 new COVID-19 cases



KATHMANDU: Three new positive cases of coronavirus have been reported in Gandaki Province on Sunday morning.

According to the Directorate of Health, Gandaki Province, two cases have been confirmed in Tanahun and one in Baglung.

A six-year-old boy in Byas Municipality and a 28-year-old man in Shulkagandaki Municipality have been infected in Tanahun while a 24-year-old man in Kathekhola Rural Municipality in Baglung has tested positive for coronavirus.

Preparations are underway to take the infected to isolation centers in the respective districts. With the new cases, the number of infected people in Gandaki Province has reached 1,091.
