Two killed in separate road accidents



KATHMANDU: A man has died after his motorcycle he was riding met with an accident at Kapilvastu Municipality-2 on Monday morning.

The deceased has been identified as 34-year-old Rakesh Mishra of Yashodhara rural municipality-3, Basantapur.

According to District Police Office, Kapilvastu, Mishra who sustained critical injuries died in the course of treatment at District Hospital, Taulihawa.

Similarly, 64-year-old motorcyclist Kulananda Bhandari of Khairahani Municipality-8 died after his motorcycle he was riding was hit by a truck, Na 27 Pa 5818, at Khairahani Municipality in Chitwan district.

Bhandari, who was rushed to Old Medical College, died in the course of treatment on Sunday evening, according to police.

Police said they are investigating the case.
