COVID-19: 11,198 killed, 119, 199 infected in Spain

KATHMANDU: Spain is the second worst-hit in terms of deaths. The death toll in Spain has reached 11, 198 after 850 died in the last 24 hours.

The number of infected cases in the country has reached 119,199 after 7, 134 new cases were reported.

Currently, 77, 448 are undergoing treatment, of which 6, 416 are critical. A total of 30, 513 have recovered after treatment.

Similarly, the death toll in France from coronavirus has reached 1,120 in the last 24 hours, taking the total to 6, 507.

As many as 64,338 people have been infected after 5, 233 new cases were reported in a single day.

According to the latest figures collated by Johns Hopkins University, the deadly virus has claimed 58, 900 and infected 1,099,389 people as of Saturday morning.
