ARGAKHANCHI: The Gorusinge-Sandhikharka road linking Arghakhanchi to the East-West Highway will remain closed for nine hours each day beginning from Wednesday.
This would be in place until March 28.
The eight-kilometer road from Sandhikharka to Bhuwanpata will see no vehicles playing for nine hours for upgrading works.
An all-party meeting held at the District Administrative Office, Arghakhanchi had earlier decided to go with a road improvement project due to the congested turning point and increasing traffic flow here.
The road will be closed in two shifts — from 7:00 am to 12:00 noon and from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, according to Chief District Officer Bijay Raj Poudel.
