Murder case against 3 police officials for opening fire on Kumar Paudel

KATHMANDU: The Home Ministry has directed to further investigate the murder case of Kumar Paudel,  Sarlahi in-charge of outlawed Nepal Communist Party (NCP) led by Netra Bikram Chand (Biplav).

The Home Ministry on Friday had sent a letter to the Nepal Police Headquarters directing the latter to investigate the case, according to reports of Kantipur daily.

Following the direction, Nepal Police Headquarter sent the letter to the Police Headquarters of Province 2 to take action against the trio.

Chief of Police Headquarters of Province 2 Pradhyumna Karki confirmed that they have receive the letter from the headquarters.

A case has been filed against Police Inspector Krishna Dev and Head Constables Shree Binod Sah and Satyanarayan Mishra for their alleged involvement in killing of Sarlahi incharge Paudel.
