One killed, another injured in Bhaktapur bus mishap



BHAKTAPUR: A man was killed when a bus turned turtle at Changunarayan Municipality-1, Duwakot on Saturday.

According to police, Bhim Bahadur Yonjan, 30, of Sindhupalchok and currently living in Duwakot was killed when the bus, Ba 1 Kha 9090, met with an accident.

Chitra Bahadur Thapa, 34, of Sorang Municipality-4 in Udayapur was injured in the mishap and underwent treatment at the Duwakot-based Kathmandu Medical College.

SP Sabin Pradhan at Metropolitan Police Range, Bhaktapur said that Thapa has returned home following treatment.

Police have arrested bus driver Bed Bahadur Chaulagain and co driver Bhim Bahadur Tamang and impounded the bus.
