Traffic along mid-hill highway to be closed for three and half hours every day



PARBAT: Traffic along Khahare of Kushma municipality-7 to Dobilla of Kushma municipality-8 of under-construction national pride project, Pushpalal (Mid-hill) highway, would be closed for three and half hours every day.

An all-side meeting held today at the coordination of the District Administration Office took the decision to close the traffic for two weeks from December 6.

The meeting decided to carry out the road expansion task by closing the traffic. Assistant Chief District Officer, Ghan Shyam Gautam, said that the traffic along the road section would be closed from 11:00 am to 2:30 pm. Around d 70 percent of the work of the construction of the highway has been completed.

The road section is going to be closed as the task to break the hard rocks at the hill from Chuwa to Dobilla still remained. The project Manager of the construction company, Govinda Bhusal, said that they have been carrying out construction works closing the traffic as the movement of vehicles along the road has increased.
