Four injured as bombs go off at Udayapur limestone mine



UDAYAPUR:  Explosions have taken place at Shaurya limestone mine industry in Katarai municipality of Udayapur district.

An unidentified gang of around four people detonated four sets of improved explosive devices at the limestone industry at Bhantabari on Thursday mid-night, informed SP Bhim Bahadur Dahal of District Police Office, Udayapur.

The details regarding who detonated and for what reason are yet to be investigated. The detonators also scolded the miners by using abusive languages.

Four minors including an excavator and one motorcycle have sustained injuries in the blast. Police said they are investigating the case.
