Make optimum use of technology: Education Minister Pokhrel



KATHMANDU: Minister for Education, Science and Technology Giriraj Mani Pokhrel has emphasized the need to make usage of science and technology and link education with labor and production.

Speaking at a virtual dialogue organized by the Education Policy and Practice Centre in Kathmandu today, he said that the prosperity could be attained by linking education to skills and production.

Minister Pokhrel also said that the role of the teachers was important to provide quality education to the students while urging them to be active and focused in teaching-learning activities than involving in political party-backed associations.

Likewise, he also stressed the need to launch a campaign for bringing education to the reach of all the people in Madhesh although once-upon-a-time Madhesh and Terai was hub for study and had contributed in producing highly educated human resources.
