Nepal Medicity Hospital signs MoA with ECHS



KATHMANDU: Nepal Mediciti Hospital, the first and only NABH accredited hospital of Nepal and Ex-servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) New Delhi, a flagship welfare scheme of Government of India has signed an agreement to provide standard healthcare facilities to Ex-Servicemen and their dependents.

The MOA was signed at Nepal Mediciti Hospital, Lalitpur, by Chief of Corporate Development Pankaj Banskota on behalf of Nepal Mediciti and Colonel Avaneesh Chambial, SM, Defence Attaché and Director ECHS Nepal, Embassy of India signed on behalf of ECHS.

The ceremony was attended by Medical Superintendent and Orthopedic Surgeon of Nepal Mediciti, Dr. Raj Rana, Lieutenant Colonel UV Sagane, Assistant Military Attaché (ECHS) and other officials from ECHS.

As a quaternary health service provider with world class health services, the hospital has agreed to welcome and treat patients referred by ECHS with quality care and standards as per the NABH (National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers) norms.

Chairman of Nepal Mediciti, Dr. Upendra Mahato has expressed his feeling of pride for the successful MoA ceremony.

Dr. Mahato assured that Mediciti will provide the best possible treatment to members and dependents of ECHS.

The ECHS Polyclinic Kathmandu, functioning under the the Embassy of India, will be referring patients for advanced medicare as per the agreement.
