Normal life hit as cold grips Biratnagar

BIRATNAGAR: The normal life was brought to a grinding halt as cold weather hit Biratngar, the capital city of Pradesh 1, on Wednesday morning.

The temperature dipped to 18.5 degree Celsius with the sky overcast with dense fogs this morning, according to Meteorological Forecasting Division, Biratnagar.

“Cold temperature was felt in Biratangar due to the westerly wind this morning,” said Bikash Deuja, the chief of the office.

The sky of the metropolis was overcast with dense fogs with cold winds blowing everywhere since early morning today.

The weather cleared only from 10 am, according to Deuja. As the winter season is fast-approaching, the weather is getting colder day by day in Biratnagar, added Deuja.
