India’s COVID-19 cases cross 8.3 million mark

KATHMANDU: India recorded 46,033 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 8,312,947.

Currently, 534,540 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 7,654,757 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 123,600-mark.

With 511 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 123,650, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometers.
