MORANG: Police have arrested the people accused in two separate rape incidents in Morang. The arrested is Sukaman Tamang of Belbari municipality-3.
Tamang was on the run after raping a girl in Amana Sisauli forest the night of October 29 and he was arrested on Monday. Tamang had committed the heinous crime with the help of one Chakra Bahadur Chaudhary.
Similarly, police held 40-year-old Jumesh Sardar of Gramthan rural municipality-2, Morang district, on the charge of sexual assault on a woman. Sardar was also absconding after committing the crime on October 29.
Police have initiated investigation against the three accused, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Man Bahadur Rai, said.
